2026 Family Spring Dance.

Thank you to all of those that attended the successful dance on Saturday 3 October. The band, JIM'S RV played a wide range of songs such as Jail House Rock, Living Doll, Whiskey in the Jar, Wagon wheel, I go Walking after midnight. One of the band members lead the crowd with a Line Dance number and even the Hokey Tokey. The dancing was fantastic with a mix of true Rock 'n' Roll, gentle waltz type and general fun movement shared by all. It was a great event with having a good sized crowd of mixed ages. Some participants asked if there was to be similar event on a regular basis. Thanks again, from all of the organising committee.

The Raffle was drawn half way through the evening resulting with three happy winners.

Community Lunch - On Sunday 23 August 2026

A good crowd came to the lunch where Pauline the current President welcomed everyone and spoke of the AGM on Monday 24 August at the hall starting at 7pm. Sonny's Line Dancers gave a fun display and then Sonny encouraged anyone who would like to try to come up for a dance. Many people took cup the opportunity and enjoyed themselves. Then everyone enjoyed the food items and tea & coffee while chatting. Thank you to everyone that attended.

On 28 March 2026- The hall committee group hosted the Meet 'n' Greet. This involved a morning tea and for visitors to see what is happening at the hall, the Chairperson - Pauline May mentioned what is currently occuring and it gave people the opportunity to say what they would like to see at the hall.

For a bit of fun we had a Best Dressed Scooter and Bike Competition. It was free to enter and happened inside the hall. There are were fun prizes. The event started at 10.30am and finished approx. 12.30pm.

ANZAC DAY 2026

Continuing our annual event at the hall, long time local resident Tom Hayes gave a great speech on how special the day is in general with the connection to the Roll of Honour at the hall. Plus how locals that have visited ANZAC Cove. Then the ODE was given followed by the Last Post, all enjoyed a cuppa and a homemade ANZAC biscutt, thank you to all those that attended..
